Canvas

Two fabrics, one shirt. The upper body, collar, and full sleeves are hand block printed in a dense black floral lattice on off-white — fine, antique block work with a textile archive quality. The lower body shifts to a natural linen-toned canvas carrying an elaborate gold floral damask print, also hand blocked. A chevron panel in black and gold stripes bridges the two fabrics at the chest, meeting at a fine gold piping that runs the centre front. Shirt collar, full sleeves with black stripe cuff band, flared A-line cut. Two distinct block traditions, composed into one garment.
